These are great. The spring is very good, so they close tightly. I actually use them for crocheting and wrapping yarn around for color changes. The tight ‘waist’ on them holds the yarn on super well. They are about middle of the road, size wise. I have larger plastic clothes pins of a similar type and they are okay but these are more compact and hold probably the same or little less than larger ones with much less or no slippage. Will buy again.
